1 Order by Tuesday at 6pm. Everything is sold by the bag or the bunch, and you pay when you order.

2 We harvest and bag Wednesday morning. Your order is picked that day, not the week before.

Ordering happens on our Square page — it will look different from this site, and that’s normal.

If you live in Binghampton, you pay less.

The gardens are the neighborhood’s, so neighbors get 25% off everything we grow. Ask for the neighbor code at pickup, at the Saturday stand, or at any Art Garden program, and enter it at checkout. If you’d rather have a weekly share, the Veggie Club is for you.

Saturdays at the Cooper-Young Community Farmers Market

Find our table at [1000 S. Cooper St., in the First Congregational Church lot — confirm]. [Hours: 9 am–1 pm November–March; confirm summer hours.] We bring what’s in season — greens, roots, herbs, cut flowers, and the Sankofa Garden’s heritage crops when they’re ready. The market’s information tent handles SNAP tokens and Double Up Food Bucks, so your benefits go further.

We take SNAP in person at Cooper-Young through the market’s token program. We can’t take SNAP online — federal rules don’t allow it for farms our size yet. [Add when true: We also take SNAP at Wednesday pickup.] If paying for fresh food is hard right now, sponsored Veggie Club shares exist for exactly that; ask any of us, no forms to fill out on the spot.

Restaurants and caterers: we sell herbs and greens by the case. Email garden@carpenterartgarden.org by Thursday for the following week and we’ll tell you what we can cut.
