Carpenter Art Garden Presents the Annual Holiday Hamp Parade TOMORROW!

A Community Celebration of History, Joy, and Neighborhood Pride

Binghampton Neighborhood, Memphis, TN - Dec. 10, 2025 - Carpenter Art Garden is proud to announce the 2025 Hamp Holiday Parade, a beloved community tradition that brings together families, neighbors, volunteers, and partners for a joyful celebration in the heart of Binghampton will take place tomorrow, Dec. 11, at 3:30 PM.

“The Hamp Holiday Parade is more than a festive event—it’s a moment for our community to come together, celebrate who we are, and create joyful memories,” said Ayanna Murray, Interim Executive Director of Carpenter Art Garden. “Binghampton is full of beauty, resilience, and history, and we are honored to host an event that reflects that spirit.”

This family-friendly event invites the community to walk together through Binghampton, honoring the neighborhood’s rich history, cultural diversity, and enduring spirit. The small parade serves as an opportunity to uplift the beauty of the community, strengthen connections, and spread holiday cheer to residents of all ages.

Carpenter Art Garden invites the entire Memphis community to join in the celebration and experience the joy, unity, and creativity that make Binghampton such a vibrant place to call home.

Event Details:

·       Time: 3:30–5:00 PM

·       Parade Route: Start at Carpenter Street → Mimosa Avenue → Scott Street → Yale Avenue → Tillman Street → Mimosa Avenue → End at Carpenter Street

This year’s parade will feature:

·       Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus

·       Hot chocolate stations to keep participants warm

·       Festive holiday music 

·       Community partners joining the celebration
