After-School and Youth Enrichment

We provide year-round enrichment for Binghampton youth through vibrant after-school programs, spring activities and summer camps. Participants engage in painting, sculpture, mural-making, music, dance, garden-based projects and collaborative workshops that develop artistic skills while building teamwork and inspiring confidence.

The Carpenter Art Garden’s Seeds of Peace after school program is the major component in carrying out our mission. This program serves the Binghampton community through art, mindfulness, urban farming workshops, and youth entrepreneurship. Our program creates a safe and supportive environment where participants can engage in meaningful art based activities that promote personal growth, community bonding and sustainable living.

This year we are offering many new and amazing opportunities through themed programming days:

Arts Tuesday - Photography workshops taught by a professional photographer will be included.

Work It Out Wednesdays - Chaperoned bike riding on the Green Line returns!

Performance Art Thursdays - Ballet classes at Collage Dance Collective and drumming have been added to our mix of enrichment opportunities.
