Located in the heart of Binghampton, Carpenter Art Garden is dedicated to serving neighborhood youth through art, education, and vocational programs.
During the summer of 2023, Carpenter Art Garden youth were taught by artists Catherine Erb, Douglass Repeto, Johana Moscoso, Khara Woods, Ashley Webster, Kelsey Harrison, Suzy Hendrix, Yancy Villa, Andrea Morales, and Myrna Trevino. The Carpenter Art Garden student showcase, Watercolor and Wildflower, captures the nostalgia of garden magic and summer joy.
Student artwork will be for sale, with 70% of the sale going directly to the student. We hope you will shop our student’s artwork to support their emerging talent and teach them the value of creativity.
Studying the arts can benefit students in many ways. Even if they don’t intend to pursue a career in the arts, prioritizing creativity as part of a well-rounded education can help them find academic, career, and personal success.
Carpenter Art Garden’s Art Education programming is sponsored in part by ArtsMemphis, Tennessee Arts Commission, City of Memphis, UrbanArt Commission, RiverArt Festival, and donors like you.
